Is Techcrunch MG Siegler A Techwankers Writer?

We get a lot (3 is a lot) of hate fan mail here at Techwankers. One recent one was from a Techcrunch reader that raised the question if MG Siegler is also a writer on Techwankers. We were surprised that someone made a connection between us and the holy grail of tech blog.

The Techwankers writers is a group of tech and media folks. We have a strict set of rules and criteria for our writers. So a quick comparison of MG vs techwankers criteria :

Talentless: Check (see all MG Siegler’s techcrunch post)

Can’t write shit: Check (see all MG Siegler’s techcrunch post)

Suck at gramma grammer: Check (see all MG Siegler’s techcrunch post)

Offer no (or incorrect) insights in any postings: Check (see all MG Siegler’s techcrunch post)

No integrity (take bribes, freebies, anything that be can flip on ebay):Unknown.

Exploit women to get traffic for a post: Check. (Example: Asian Boobs)

Steal ideas, styles from other blogs: Check. See iPhone Peephole, Google vs Apple, Google Wants Your First born etc Seems a bit familiar? posting pre Techwankers (appox Jan 2010) vs post Techwankers.

So readers of Techwankers, we’ll let you judge. Is it a coincidence? Is MG really me (Joe)? Or is he Wanksta?

UPDATE: Today MG posted this on techcrunch: “Help Us Google, You’re Our Only Broadband Hope“. We did this yesterday: Google Is The Emprie – “Obi Wan, You Are Our Only Hope.” We’ll let you decide.
