To My Space Design Expert: “No Shit Einstein”

Techcrunch posted an interesting post today on a leaked My Space app review doc by a UI design ‘expert’.

The doc is located on scribd. It’s titled ‘Apps Expert Review’. Expert???

First, the docs looked like it was scribbled over by a 3 year old with color crayons.

The ‘expert’ advice : ‘the button must follow style guides’, ‘lose the logos’ etc  Hmm…I am no expert..but isn’t that design consistency. Do I really need an ‘expert’ to tell me that.

Lets hope the new My Space team is doing a better job.

UPDATE Feb 25th: MySpace sent a DMCA to TechCrunch regarding the leaked document. I suspect they are more embarrassed by the content of the doc, then the fact that it was leaked. Good to see that Techcrunch is standing up to the bullying.
