Techcrunch Avatar Screening

The techwankers was at the recent techcrunch Avatar screening – we had seats right behind Michael Arrington. It was a great movie event (free popcorn + drinks too). Mattel had some action figures to give away and most of the geeks in the audience scrambled for it – no problem with that. Except, one of the sponsors (I can only assume this, as he sat in the sponsor’s reserved seats) – took the last action figure, leaving a little girl with no toy. The crowd boo’ed and urged him to give it to the girl – he still kept it. Eventually, another audience member gave his toy to the little girl.

To the sponsor who kept the toy – you are a grown man, get a life. I am sure you are very happy now that you have your action figure and it must have felt good watching the little girl beg. You sad and lonely guy.
